Blossom is born with unique petals, each decorated with all the things she loves and adores. Upon learning that ALL flowers have their own special features and differences as well, she declares the world to be a most wonderful place to live, and she begins to blossom more than ever!

But that is about to change.

Now that Blossom has enrolled at Flower Academy, life will never be the same. Purple daisies are making new rules and determining who is more important and valuable than other flowers. Blossom must make a difficult decision, one that can change her life forever. Will she remain true to who she is and remember to bloom? Or will she do as most flowers and become a purple daisy in order to fit in?

Don't Forget to Bloom! eBook Lisa Walker Elizabeth Marie

The author says this book is about bullying. I read it and it's pretty profound for flowers and 38 pages, half of which are the wonderful illustrations!

I believe that this book is about loving ourselves enough to block out the voices of the outside. The voices that are not true, that come from another person's view of their self, their life.

The story fits perfectly with what was discussed at a business group I attended the day these arrived. Being Our Authentic self. Be who we are. Fulfill the purpose we are here for. Thrive in uniqueness.

I love this book. Everyone should have a copy. Especially folks who have misplaced their inner child, their authenticity, because someone told them they should be someone else.

Don't Forget to Bloom! eBook Lisa Walker Elizabeth Marie Reviews

Don't let the cute exterior fool you. This inspiring book brings a deep lesson to enliven every woman's heart and give permission to every little girl to bloom just as she is. Perfect for girls aged 5 -95 !
"Don't Forget To Bloom!" Love it! This book is such a great story of embracing our individuality! It helps remind us that society/peer pressure try to place us in a mold. It also shows how unjust people can be to those who do not "fit the mold". It is a great example of how many young girls/teens try to conform to the ideas of someone else just to fit in and how devastating it can be if you don't. Something we can all relate to and have all experienced at some time in our life. The story is told in a very thoughtful and artistic way. The bright illustrations are amazing and makes it a fun read. Most of all - LOVE THE MESSAGE! If only we could all embrace our individuality so bravely (at any age)!
This book is a great book to use in helping your girls realize that they don't need to follow the crowd or fit in and be just like everyone else. It helps girls to realize that when we look at our own flavor and what we bring to the world, we shine even brighter! I love how it celebrates each persons uniqueness and beauty that is all their own. My daughter loved the story and I have to say that it made me think as a mother where I had lost some of my sparkle and shine I used to embrace as a little girl. It is a great book for both you and your daughter to connect with and the illustrations are absolutely spectacular. I think a fun activity afterwards is to draw the kind of flower you would be and the petals that would make you unique. Fun activity for young girls and moms alike! Wonderful book to teach a great lesson- enjoyable and with a great lesson to learn in between the pages. Great book for teachers to get for students at school who may feel different and don't feel like they fit in. Loved it!!
An absolute MUST read for everyone, children and adults alike! You will find yourself identifying with Blossom and her uniqueness AND it will definitely talk to who you REALLY are! LOVED IT!
Inspiring story and fun illustrations
"Don't Forget to Bloom" is more adotable than the cute book cover. If you are a parent, a teacher or someone who needs a reminder of how amazing you truly are .....order this book today! This should be a required read in schools. Bravo Lisa Ayn Walker!
This book is a great children's book because it encourages them to be unique, stand up for themselves and to be accepting of everyone. This book is a great book for adults because it reminds us that it is NEVER too late to bloom. Even if you feel that you are too old, it all happened so long ago...those buried traumas can be exposed and you can learn to forgive yourself, those who hurt you and BLOOM. Such a sweet story...such a powerful message. Happy to read it to my kids one day! )
